This beautiful porcelain lamp, called Reykjavik, was designed by Sebastian Holmbäck. According to the creator, the shape of the lamp was inspired by the forms of the corrugated metal sheets used for cladding on many Icelandic houses. Well, I don’t know about that, but I do like the elegant, thin porcelain shade which emits a really smooth and warm light.
The lamp is available in three sizes, and it is manufactured by the Danish lighting company Nordlux. Prices start at $100 for the smallest one.
