Danish Skagerak is a family owned company which manufactures both country style solid wood benches, and also minimalistic wood furniture by contemporary Scandinavian designers. What’s common in their products is their excellent quality and flawless woodworking, even to the smallest details.
The company, which was founded in 1976 by a Danish couple in Aalborg, is following a holistic approach regarding their product range. They usually create a whole series with a design, that include not only chairs and tables, but also complementaries like mirrors, hangers, kitchen accessories, etc.
Skagerak is a certified ‘B Corp.’ company. The B Corporation certification is an international best practice initiative, that sets up requirements for social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency for participating businesses.
