These two-tone ceramic pots, called ‘Oasis’, were created by young Norwegian artist Ann Kristin Einarsen. The self-watering set consists of two interlocking pots: a glazed water container on bottom and a natural terracotta planter on top, which leads the water into the soil that it holds.
The lower pot is available in green, white or dark brown finish, while the upper one kept its natural terracotta color. The set is produced by Norwegian lighting and furniture manufacturer Northern.
Ann Kristin Einarsen is a young artist and designer originally from Northern Norway, with a background in wood-working and pottery. She is currently working in Oslo.
