This four bedroom vacation home, designed by Fantastic Norway, is located in Sør-Trøndelag county in Central Norway. Basic requirements for this project were to provide good shelter from the harsh coastal weather, and to create connection with the natural surroundings and the scenic views of the fjord. These two functions are clearly visible on the house as well by the distinctive black and white painting.

Fantastic Norway was a one-of-a-kind, community based architect studio and travelling workshop. It was founded by Håkon Matre Aasarød and Erlend Blakstad Haffner and operated successfully between 2003-2013.
